The Story

  • This collection is crafted from sustainably harvested Grade-A teak wood, selected for its natural beauty and durability.
  • Artisan-crafted teak finishes are hand-applied using a wire brush to subtly distress the wood followed by staining the pigment onto the surface.
  • Small imperfections may expose underlying teak wood. If left uncovered, finishes will gradually fade and acquire a beautiful silvery-grey patina (typical of untreated teak wood), adding unique character to your piece.
  • Teak hardwood contains natural oils that repel insects, prevent drying, and resist moisture. Teak is also resistant to fungal decay, rotting, and warping due to temperature or humidity.
  • For natural teak pieces, the teak’s natural oils cause a natural occurrence called oil surfacing, in which teak oil will pool on the surfaces of new or very young natural teak, almost like a watermark pattern of discoloration. We recommend rinsing your teak furniture with a garden hose prior to first use.
  • Protect your outdoor furnishings with resilient Agora® covers—specifically tailored to fit Arhaus outdoor collections. Call, email, or live chat with our Design Team for details.
